Is M. Baum High a real place?
Nope. The school, the tales of mystery and terror, its mascot, and history were all created in 2009 as backstory for the entire 'zombie prom' conceit Spooky though, right? Click the Phantoms logo above and you too can feel like an alumnus of good ol' M. Baum!
What IS Zombie Prom?
It's the Saturday Night party held each year at Kreepfest. Dancing, food and drink, music and hanging out! A chance to dress up (if you choose) and get down with the spooky folk!
Do I have to wear a costume?
Not at all. While many choose to dress up, it's not a requirement. Some folks dress in their prom best (zombified or not) and others choose to wear different kinds of costumes (Ask an old-school Kreep about the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man's dance moves!), In past years, we've had prom themes like 'Knight of the Living Dead' or 'Isla de Calaveras' where the theme (Medieval and Pirates respectively) guided people's choice in attire.
In short, dress as you feel comfortable. There will be a photo booth to capture your prom memories forever!
So what's the 2026 Theme?
Haunted Homecoming. A general 'school prom' theme. If you really want to get into character as a student, teacher, or other person who attended M. Baum, then click on the logo above and get all the 'in character' information you may need.
Will there be food?
Yes there will! Food and drink will be provided by the wonderful CandyMom and her family. If you have food allergies or restrictions, you are welcome to bring in something of your own to ensure you have something to fuel you as you dance the night away!
Will there be a bar?
Yep. There will be a cash bar sponsored by Kreepfest benefiting charity.
